Sonia Gandhi Makes Debut on X, Teases Upcoming Memoir Belonging A Journey of Love
New Delhi: Congress Parliamentary Party chairperson Sonia Gandhi has officially made her debut on X (formerly Twitter), marking the occasion by sharing a special video clip to tease her upcoming memoir, Belonging: A Journey of Love.
In the video, Gandhi reflects deeply on her personal life and recounts her very first meeting with former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. She shares how they met as students at a Greek restaurant in England while she was searching for food similar to Italian cuisine, highlighting his gentle demeanor and how she immediately felt that he was someone she wanted to spend her life with.
The memoir, scheduled for release on November 10, explores profound themes of love, duty, loss, and finding a place to belong. It recounts her major life transitions, including her move to India, her marriage, and her introduction to India's most prominent political family. This digital milestone follows her recent debut on Instagram, where she first shared a glimpse of the book alongside her daughter, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, generating widespread public interest ahead of its publication.
