Tragedy Strikes Bihar: Deadly Blast at Illegal Firecracker Factory Leaves Several Feared Dead
A devastating explosion ripped through an illegal firecracker factory in Bihar's Siwan district, leaving multiple people feared dead and several others seriously injured.
The powerful blast triggered widespread panic, completely reducing the manufacturing unit to rubble and shattering nearby structures.
Emergency response teams, including local police, district administration officials, and disaster response forces, rushed to the site immediately.
Rescue operations are currently underway as personnel work frantically through the debris to pull out trapped survivors and provide urgent medical aid to the injured.
Preliminary investigations suggest the factory was operating without proper safety clearances, storing high quantities of explosive gunpowder.
As rescue efforts continue, local authorities are coordinating medical support, while a high-level probe has been ordered to determine the exact cause of the blast and hold negligent operators accountable.
Further updates on the final casualty toll are awaited.
