Ramayana: Part 1 Confirms Unified Worldwide Release on November 5
The makers of the highly anticipated mythological epic Ramayana: Part 1 have officially resolved all scheduling speculation by confirming a unified global and domestic release date. The film will hit cinemas worldwide on November 5, 2026, perfectly positioned just ahead of the festive Diwali weekend.
This strategic update brings clarity after earlier industry confusion, ensuring that India's domestic theatrical release completely matches the overseas schedule distributed by Sony Pictures. Fans can also mark their calendars for Dussehra, when advance ticket bookings officially open nationwide.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, the magnum opus boasts a stellar ensemble cast. Ranbir Kapoor stars as Lord Rama, alongside Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman.
To cater to audiences across regions, the film will release in multiple languages—Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam—and will feature immersive IMAX and premium format screenings. Following this grand debut, Part 2 of the cinematic journey is already slated to arrive during Diwali 2027.
