Probe Reveals RAF Personnel Fired Pellet Gun During CJP Parliament March
An internal investigation has confirmed that a Rapid Action Force (RAF) personnel fired seven rounds from a pump-action pellet gun during the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest march to Parliament on July 20. Shockingly, the probe revealed that five of these rounds directly hit the protesters.
Initially, both the Delhi Police and central security forces vehemently denied using pellet ammunition, dismissing the claims as misleading.
However, medical records from top government hospitals like AIIMS and Safdarjung explicitly confirmed pellet injuries among the demonstrators. A young 19-year-old victim currently faces the tragic risk of permanent vision loss.
The CRPF ordered this internal inquiry after facing mounting public outrage and legal pressure, including a Delhi High Court directive seeking answers on the excessive use of force. Disciplinary action is now expected against the involved personnel for blatantly violating strict riot-control protocols.
