Dharmendra Pradhan Resigns Amid NEET Protests; Security Forces Deployed in Delhi

New Delhi: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has tendered his resignation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi following intense, weeks-long nationwide student demonstrations led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) over the NEET examination paper leak controversy.

In his resignation letter, Pradhan stated he stepped down to shield the nation's youth from confusion and to prevent the protests at Jantar Mantar from being exploited.

Following the announcement, the Centre rushed heavy contingents of security forces, including the CRPF and CAPF, into New Delhi to secure key zones and clear out demonstration sites.

While student leaders hailed the exit as a major victory for accountability, tensions remain high across the capital as authorities move to restore public order and finalize terms regarding remaining demands, including student compensation and withdrawn police cases.
