Bhagwat Backs LGBTQ+ Inclusion, Urges Caution on Gen Z

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat emphasized that the LGBTQ+ community is an integral part of Indian society, stating they possess an inalienable right to live with dignity and should not be ostracized. Addressing an event in Hyderabad, he noted that such orientations are natural and have historical presence.

Shifting focus to youth dynamics, Bhagwat described Generation Z as "imitative and emotional," warning that digital influences and lack of calm deliberation make them vulnerable to rapid societal trends.

Furthermore, he critiqued Western-influenced live-in relationships for avoiding responsibility, contrasting them with traditional marriage as a framework of duty. Bhagwat also advised parents to enforce "mobile discipline" to strengthen family bonds against digital distractions.
