Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in New Delhi for a landmark three-day visit to attend the 18th BRICS Summit.
This visit marks his first in-person attendance at a major multilateral summit outside Russia since the onset of the conflict in Ukraine, underscoring the deep strategic ties between Moscow and New Delhi.
The core of his itinerary features comprehensive bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Discussions will primarily center on reinforcing defense co-production, expanding long-term energy security arrangements, and boosting non-tariff bilateral trade.
