PSEB Sets National Benchmark With UIDAI Paperless Integration
The Punjab School Education Board has become the country's first educational institution to implement the Unique Identification Authority of India's Offline Verification Seeking Entity framework.
This adoption modernizes credential validation by replacing physical document submissions with consent-driven digital verification.
The system allows PSEB to securely verify the identity of students, teachers, and administrators without accessing or querying UIDAI’s central database directly.
By streamlining verification across student registrations, board examinations, admission workflows, and certificate issuance, the board eliminates manual data entry errors and physical paperwork.
This milestone transitions educational administration toward paperless governance, establishing a secure, scalable model that safeguards user privacy while boosting administrative efficiency across the state's academic ecosystem.
