Ram Temple Trust's First Woman Member Recalls Shock of WhatsApp Offer
Dr. Nirmala Yadav, the newly appointed first woman member of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, described her surprise at receiving a sudden WhatsApp message on September 2 asking her to confirm her acceptance of the trustee role.
Though she had received vague hints, the digital notification catching her off guard left her temporarily speechless.
The 66-year-old retired college principal and educationist from Shikohabad brings decades of administrative experience and a strong background with the RSS-affiliated ABRSM to the trust.
Her appointment, alongside Madan Mohan Pandey and Mahesh Bhagchandka, follows recent administrative overhauls and signals a strong push for women's empowerment (Matri Shakti) and OBC representation.
Dr. Yadav stated she plans to leverage her institutional background to enhance visitor facilities, security, and crowd management for devotees arriving at the Ayodhya temple. She described the historic role as an unexpected blessing.
