Riyadh Airport Resumes Partial Operations Following Recent Attacks
On Sunday Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport has officially resumed partial flight operations across two main terminals following temporary suspensions caused by recent Houthi missile and drone attacks.
Under the updated operational schedule, Terminal 1 is designated exclusively for domestic flights, while Terminal 2 handles international departures and arrivals for major regional and national carriers.
Airport authorities and defense teams have implemented heightened security measures and thorough technical inspections to ensure air traffic safety and operational readiness.
Travelers are strongly advised to check their flight status directly with their respective airlines prior to heading to the airport, as schedules remain subject to minor adjustments during the transition.
Major airlines operating through Riyadh are offering flexible rebooking options and fee waivers for passengers affected by the recent disruptions as international and domestic services gradually return to full capacity.
