After nearly a decade away, Rajinderpal Singh of Punjab’s Tarn Taran district finally returned home from Saudi Arabia, bearing harrowing allegations.
Singh revealed that he spent an extra 15 months trapped behind bars even after completing his legal requirements, turning a long detention into an extended nightmare.
Upon seeking help, Singh claimed the Indian Embassy completely ignored his repeated pleas for assistance.
Instead of extending crucial consular support to fast-track his repatriation, he alleged that embassy officials demanded money from him.
