Kejriwal Demands Pradhan’s Ouster as HC Orders Wangchuk Health Checks
New Delhi: AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal visited Sonam Wangchuk on his 19th day of hunger strike at Jantar Mantar, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over NEET paper leaks. Kejriwal proposed Wangchuk as Pradhan's replacement.
As the activist's health deteriorated—resulting in a severe 9 kg weight loss—the Delhi High Court stepped in, declaring that "every life is precious".
The court directed government doctors to perform daily clinical check-ups on Wangchuk and administer necessary medical treatments, a mandate the Centre assured is already in progress.
