Jamui: Following shocking incidents of harassment and public misbehavior against minor girls in Bihar—first in the Jamui district and subsequently in Samastipur—Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas) national president and Union Minister Chirag Paswan took a firm and vocal stand, demanding stringent action against the culprits.

The Jamui Case & Police Action: After a disgraceful video of harassment surfaced from Jamui, police swung into action and arrested multiple suspects, with the prime accused later sustaining a gunshot injury in the leg during a police encounter.
Samastipur Incident & Chirag's Demand: Following a similar viral harassment video from Samastipur, where four individuals were arrested, Chirag Paswan expressed deep anguish. He urged the state administration to deal firmly with such elements, stating that the accused in Samastipur should face an encounter similar to the Jamui case so that fear of the law is firmly established among criminals.
