Brutal Delhi Teen Gangrape and Murder: Four Arrested
A horrifying case of gangrape and murder has shaken Northwest Delhi's Swaroop Nagar, where the decomposed body of a 16-year-old girl was found partially eaten by stray dogs in an agricultural field.
Police investigations revealed the victim was murdered on September 11 after being driven to an isolated spot in a tempo.
She suffered multiple stab wounds before her attackers concealed her body under leaves and mud. Because the victim frequently left home for days, her family had not filed a missing person report.
Delhi Police cracked the gruesome crime by scouring footage from over 50 CCTV cameras to trace the suspicious tempo.
This led to the apprehension of four individuals, including a 19-year-old man named Shivam and three juveniles.
Authorities have recovered the murder weapons, blood-stained clothing, and the vehicle used in the crime.
A case has been registered under the BNS and POCSO Act.
