Wildlife SOS CEO Under Scanner for Alleged Poaching Nexus in Major Leopard Skin Scandal
Madhya Pradesh’s State Tiger Strike Force has implicated prominent Delhi NGO Wildlife SOS in a shocking poaching scandal.
Following a July seizure of ten leopard skins, authorities uncovered that the arrested wildlife-contraband traders were allegedly on the NGO's active payroll and operating under instructions from CEO Kartick Satyanarayan.
Investigators suspect the organization orchestrated the poaching and staged the high-profile seizures to manufacture anti-poaching credentials, drive fundraising, and secure grants.
A Wildlife SOS vehicle and incriminating digital evidence have been seized, and forest teams have recovered multiple buried leopard remains.
Authorities have issued a formal notice to Satyanarayan to appear for questioning, dealing a massive blow to the conservation group's reputation.
