UP Police Encounter: Two Wanted Sharpshooters Dead in Haryanvi Singer Murder Case
Two key sharpshooters linked to the murder of Haryanvi singer and YouTuber Ankit Balyan were killed in a gunfight with the Uttar Pradesh Police in Shamli.
The fierce exchange of fire occurred near a gas warehouse on Kairana Road when police intercepted the suspects.
The deceased were identified as Mohit and Sumit, residents of Sonipat, Haryana, both carrying bounties of ₹50,000.
They sustained critical injuries during the retaliatory firing and succumbed at the District Joint Hospital.
Balyan was gunned down outside a Shamli gym on August 26, 2026, when four assailants on motorcycles opened fire, inflicting fatal head wounds.
Authorities confirmed that the operation to apprehend the remaining conspirators and accomplices is actively underway across neighboring districts.
