Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra Appointed First CEO of Ayodhya Ram Temple
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has named retired Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra as its first full-time Chief Executive Officer.
Selected from a pool of 5,585 applicants, Mishra is a highly decorated Indian Air Force veteran who recently retired as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Air Command.
This appointment marks a strategic transition from a volunteer-led framework to a professional, corporate-style administration.
As CEO, Mishra will spearhead operational efficiency, manage statutory compliance, and streamline the massive daily influx of pilgrims visiting the Ayodhya temple.
Alongside this administrative milestone, the Trust expanded its governing body by inducting three new members: Mahesh Bhagchandka, Madan Mohan Pandey, and Nirmala Yadav.
This structural overhaul aims to future-proof the temple's complex infrastructure projects and ensure long-term transparency as Ayodhya cements its status as a major global spiritual destination.
