White House Debuts 'Trump TV' Amid Media Access Blackout
The White House has launched "Trump TV," a 24/7 digital streaming platform broadcasting unfiltered presidential speeches, archival footage, and administration updates.
The rollout arrives during an intense showdown with the press. Following the administration's decision to revoke press credentials for CNN, Politico, and MS NOW over accusations of "fake news," major television networks responded with a coordinated broadcast boycott.
In turn, the banned networks filed a joint federal lawsuit targeting the administration for violating First Amendment protections.
President Donald Trump defended the restrictions, asserting that the Constitution does not mandate physical White House access for specific media outlets.
The administration positioned the new streaming channel as a direct-to-consumer alternative, enabling the public to view official updates without traditional media framing. The live feed is currently accessible via the official White House website and YouTube channel.
