Delhi Shame: Minor Gang-Raped by Three Men Posing as Cops in Kalkaji Park, One Arrested
In a shocking incident in southeast Delhi, a 17-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by three men posing as police officers inside Astha Kunj Park near Kalkaji.
The victim had visited a temple with her male friend before walking into the park. The trio of accused approached them, falsely claiming to be law enforcement, and threatened them with legal action.
They overpowered the male friend and dragged the minor girl into a secluded area to commit the heinous crime.
Following a distress call, local authorities registered a case under the POCSO Act and BNS.
In a swift breakthrough, police tracked down the primary suspect, Asif, in the Amar Colony area.
He sustained a bullet injury during a retaliatory exchange of fire and was hospitalized. Law enforcement is actively analyzing CCTV footage to hunt down the remaining two absconding perpetrators.
