Jhansi: Aban Ahmed, the youngest son of the late gangster politician Atiq Ahmed, died in a major road accident in Uttar Pradesh.
The accident occurred in the Poonch police station area of Jhansi district, Uttar Pradesh, on a major highway.
The vehicle carrying Aban and his associates was traveling at a high speed when it lost control and crashed violently into a road divider. The impact heavily damaged the front portion of the car.
Aban and the others were driving from Prayagraj to Jhansi to visit his older brother, Ali Ahmed, who is currently imprisoned in the Jhansi district jail.
Aban Ahmed and two other individuals lost their lives at the scene.
Three other individuals (identified in initial reports as including Mohammad Zaid and Umar) sustained critical injuries. They were rushed to a nearby hospital, where they are undergoing emergency medical treatment.
