ICAL Launches Grassroots Pathway in Greater Noida
The Indian Cricket Academy League (ICAL) officially launched in Greater Noida, introducing a structured pathway to connect emerging talent with professional cricket. Led by Head Coach Uttam Mazumdar, alongside Anshul Arora and Ashutosh Pathak, ICAL addresses key grassroots challenges—like limited exposure, financial barriers, and unverified stats—through an eight-stage development model.
The initiative features age-group Academy Leagues (U-12 to U-20), a University League, and national trial systems. By incorporating digital performance profiles, transparent evaluation, and player scholarships, ICAL aims to transform local talent into national opportunities across India.
