Key Bishnoi Gang Operative Harry Boxer Detained in US
Hari Chand, alias Harry Boxer—a key operative of the fugitive Lawrence Bishnoi gang—has been detained by law enforcement authorities in the United States.
Formerly a boxing coach in Jaipur, Boxer fled India after establishing direct ties with senior syndicate leaders.
Operating overseas, he managed extortion rackets, targeted shootings, and threat operations for the network.
Boxer notably gained notoriety after claiming responsibility for sending extortion threats and ordering shots fired outside the Mumbai home of filmmaker Rohit Shetty.
Intelligence shared by the Delhi Police Special Cell and Indian counter-terrorism agencies tracked his movements across North America, leading to his apprehension.
Indian law enforcement agencies, in coordination with diplomatic channels, have initiated legal proceedings to secure his deportation to India. Upon arrival, he faces extensive charges under organized crime and anti-terror laws across multiple states.
