An Uttarakhand private school is facing intense backlash and an official investigation after conducting a shocking anti-mobile phone drill that terrified young students.
During the session at Adarsh India Montessori School in Udham Singh Nagar, a blindfolded student with red liquid simulating blood was paraded before his peers.
The children were told that a doctor had surgically removed his eyes due to excessive smartphone usage.
The graphic scare tactic caused widespread panic, leaving young pupils crying and traumatized.
The video quickly went viral, drawing sharp condemnation from parents and child psychologists over the use of extreme fear-based methods. In response, local education authorities launched a formal inquiry.
The Block Education Officer has been ordered to investigate the incident and submit a detailed report, which could lead to strict disciplinary action against the school management.
