Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to visit the United States in December to participate in the G20 Leaders' Summit, hosted by President Donald Trump at the Trump National Doral Miami resort in Florida.

The December 14–15 summit is expected to serve as the backdrop for a crucial bilateral meeting between the two leaders, alongside discussions concerning a potential interim trade framework and regional security via the Quad.

US diplomatic figures have noted that Modi's engagement is a primary focus for the White House during the multilateral event.

Following the conclusion of the Florida summit, the Prime Minister's diplomatic itinerary is anticipated to extend northward with a scheduled visit to Canada.
