US-Iran Conflict Escalates as Airstrikes Target Bridges and Gulf Allies

Following the collapse of a brief ceasefire, the US military launched its sixth straight night of airstrikes in Iran, expanding targets to key transit bridges in southern Hormozgan province and killing at least seven people.

President Trump directed the infrastructure strikes to break Tehran's "chokehold" on the vital Strait of Hormuz.

In retaliation, Iran launched missile and drone barrages targeting US-allied Gulf nations, including Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.

As the US reimposes its naval blockade, Tehran has threatened to strike all regional infrastructure, declaring the waterway an "invincible red line".
