Trump Cancels Iran Strikes Following Tehran’s Deal Request

US President Donald Trump announced he called off imminent US and Israeli military strikes against Iran after Tehran and regional allies requested a pause to negotiate a sweeping agreement.

Trump stated that forces were "locked and loaded" when the request arrived, and he agreed to halt the attack subject to rapidly finalizing a deal.
