Aryan Khan and others will remain in NCB custody till October 7 in drugs case
Mumbai: A Mumbai court sent Aryan Khan, son of actor Shah Rukh Khan, to the custody of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) till October 7 in connection with a cruise drug bust case. Seven other accused in the case were also remanded to NCB's custody.
The NCB argued that the investigation is ongoing and therefore Aryan Khan's custody was needed for further probe.
The court observed that the investigation was of prime importance and granted NCB custody of Aryan Khan till October 7. "Considering this aspect, the presence of the accused with NCB is necessary. Remanded till 7," the court stated.
Aryan Khan was detained on Sunday along with seven other people who were on the Cordelia Cruises' Empress ship for a rave party. The NCB has detained Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker, Gomit Chopra and Arbaaz Merchantt, along with Aryan Khan. Of the eight people, Aryan, Arbaaz and Munmun have been arrested.
