The Ministry of Civil Aviation has summoned outgoing Air India CEO Campbell Wilson following a serious mid-air incident on a Phuket-to-Delhi flight.

Flight AI2379 experienced a sudden 300-foot altitude drop and severe turbulence, injuring 17 people, including 13 passengers and four crew members.

Both pilots were taken off the flying roster after mandatory screenings raised concerns, prompting further investigation.
