Advani and Sisodia Families Among Millions Flagged in Delhi Voter Revision
The families of veteran BJP leader L.K. Advani and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia are among millions of Delhi residents who have received Election Commission notices over voter list discrepancies.
Part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR), the exercise aims to clean up electoral rolls.
Advani, his daughter, and daughter-in-law were flagged under the "no mapping" category because their records could not be linked to the 2002 electoral roll.
Meanwhile, Manish Sisodia’s family faced notices due to name mismatches and parent-name discrepancies.
Authorities have flagged over 33 lakh voters out of 97 lakh draft electors for similar issues. High-profile figures like Arvind Kejriwal and Kapil Sibal are also on the list.
Affected individuals must submit their verification documents to their respective Electoral Registration Officers. The final electoral roll is scheduled for publication on November 4.
