Sikkim strengthens disaster response with 24x7 emergency centres in all districts
Sikkim: Sikkim is enhancing its disaster response by establishing 24x7 District Emergency Operational Centers (DEOCs) in all four districts.
This initiative, part of the Sikkim State Disaster Management Authority's (SSDMA) efforts, aims to improve emergency preparedness and response capabilities.
The DEOCs are designed to provide a centralized hub for disaster management, facilitating coordination and response during emergencies.
