UP becomes the first state to implement scrap policy!
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh (Uttar Pradesh) has become the first state in the country to have a scrap policy (Scrap Policy) is applied. After this, now the vehicles which have completed the time limit in the state (Vehicles) will not be able to walk on the roads. The checking team will now seize such unfit and sour vehicles from the Scrap Center (Scrap Center) will be handed over. On arrival at the scrap centre, the fair price of the vehicles will be given to their owners. Lucknow Transport Commissioner Dheeraj Sahu has implemented this policy in the state with immediate effect. Under this policy, now 15 year old petrol and 10 year old diesel vehicles will not be able to run on the roads without fitness.
If such vehicles are caught plying on the roads without fitness, the enforcement squads will confiscated them as unfit and hand them over to the Scape Centre. After the implementation of this policy, scrap centers will be opened across the state. Here the owners will be able to take the certificate by handing over the caught vehicles and they will also get a fair price for their vehicles. With the implementation of this policy, vehicle related crimes will come down, a scrap center will be up to three acres.
After the implementation of this policy, six percent of the total value of the vehicle that has been discarded will be cash money. Along with this, a certificate will be available, showing which there will also be a exemption of five percent tax on the purchase of the vehicle. According to the Transport Department, people can also apply for declaring vehicle scrap through the website. For this, the Transport Department has started online registration. In this, any person, firm, institution, trust can apply by visiting the website. At the time of applying, other necessary documents including the step certificate will also have to be uploaded on a stamp of Rs 100.
